Trikeri
On a rocky hill looking like an island, Trikeri is the last village of the peninsula still having a developed maritime tradition. The village has many amazingly beautiful old mansions owned by captains (Vryniotis, Koutmanis, Koupourelou and others), the church of Agios Athanassios (1799), the church of Agioi Anargyroi (19th century) and the 18th century church of Agia Triada, built by the devoted inhabitants, which contains a gold-plated carved wooden iconostasis and a despotic throne.
