Promyri
At 57 km from Volos, amphitheatrically built one of the most beautiful villages of Pelion, Promyri is surrounded by dense vegetation, legends and traditions. In Promyri there are houses in a neoclassical style, built when the village was very prosperous. To the right of the road to the square there is the "Trani Vrissi" built in 1976. The island of Skiathos can be seen from the centre of the village.
Promyri has traditional grocery shops, a bakery with wood fired ovens and butchers. There is now a modern supermarket and the main square is shaded by a vast plane tree flanked by a couple of tavernas.
