Agios Lavrentios

Agios Lavrentios is one of the oldest villages of the Centaurs’ Mountain. It is a mountainous location of unique beauty, in west Pelion, only 20km from Volos, with spectacular views over the Pagasetic Gulf. It is recommended for calm and relaxing holidays in the nature but also for short excursions on weekends. It owes its name to the homonymous Byzantine monastery founded by Agios Lavrentios (St. Lawrence). Notable are the events organized every August under the name “Music Village”.
