Xinovrysi

It is part of the municipal unit of Argalasti. Xinovrysi is 3.5 km northeast of Argalasti, 7 km north of Promyri and 30 km southeast of Volos. Its population in 2011 was 164 for the village, and 213 for the community, which includes the village Potistika. Among the sights of the village stands out the Holy Church of the Assumption of the Virgin, a stone-built three-aisled basilica of 1778 and is being proclaimed by the 7th Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities. Stunning beauty and one of the most famous beaches of Pelion, is the beach of Potistika, on the Aegean side.
